Eureka Enviro Steamer is Great mop for wood floors
We have 1000sq ft of wood floors downstairs and the "recommended" cleaning for them is a wood cleaner spray with a soft cloth mop. This makes them shiny but it doesnt CLEAN them (wood in kitchen can get dirty) so I have been using swifer pads. These are expensive AND they leave the floor looking streaky and feel sticky to walk on so footprints are even more visible.
This mop is awesome. It cleans quickly. just ONE fill of the water tank does all 1000sq ft. I dont have to buy swifer pads anymore. AND I am not putting chemicals on my floors! It dries MUCH quicker than the swifer pads do. I couldn't find anything that said this is unsafe for wood. I know water is bad for wood but this is such a light damp pad that it dries so quickly (by the time I finish one side of room the other is dry, so I do not logically think it is harmfull for the wood. it is the same as taking a barely damp HOT washcloth to the floor. I LOVE my mop!

Eureka Steam Mop is Best floor cleaner ever
I am so happy with this product! I have vinyl floors and I never really felt that I could get them clean. We have 3 young kids so we have lots of spills, muddy footprints, etc. Over the years there has been dirt buildup and in our bathroom, hair product build up on the floors. I have a Hoover Floor Mate which was heavy, messy, and didn't seem to get the sticky spots up without a lot of work on my part. I then got a Swiffer Wet Jet and I liked this because it was light weight and easy to use. But I was still scrubbing the tough spots by hand. And- the chemicals left the floor sticky. I like the idea that the Enviro Steamer only used water and the pads were reuseable. I had it put together and working in minutes and boy, did it work well! For the bad spots, I just left it steam over those areas a little longer and my floors never looked so clean!! And for the hairspray buildup in the bathroom- this is the first thing I have used that could even touch it- it took a couple of times of going over the floors to get the years of build up off. But it did the job. I am so happy that I got this. It is sooooo worth the money!!!

The Eureka Enviro Steamer is a great steam mop and cheaper than most others. My sister has the Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop which I tried a few times. The Bissell left a lot of water on my floors so I had to use a fan to evaporate it quicker. What a pain! The Enviro Steam gets nice and hot, cleans great, and can also stand up on its own. Highly recommended.
Makes cleaning the floors effortless
I was previously a Wet Swiffer user. I purchased this Eureka steam mop to clean my hardwood and tiled floors. My routine is while the mop is heating up, I give my floors a quick vacuum. It does a wonderful job. I have 2 bulldogs that drool and 2 toddlers that spill everything on my floors and this steam mop has no problem getting the dried up drool or spills at the end of the night.
